Partner Technology Manager, Music

Job Description

As a Partner Technology Manager, you will take responsibility for the success of YouTube's partnerships, lead deployments, optimize implementations to increase business, drive new business opportunities, and seek innovative solutions in the fluid work of digital music to build strong, successful, long-term partnerships. In this role, you will lead projects and cross-functional teams and solidify YouTube's strategic partnerships with the traditional Music partners and the new media partners that have grown businesses almost exclusively on YouTube.

Resonsibilities:
• Identify, drive, and optimize the business flow from existing and new business opportunities by leveraging YouTube technologies through prototyping and innovation.
• Perform implementation reviews, advocate for new product features and internal tools, and ensure the prompt and proper resolution of technical challenges.
• Improve product feature offerings by providing partner feedback to internal cross-functional teams including Product Management and Engineering.
• Assist in the technical aspects of a partner's integration by providing necessary documentation and technical guidance.
• Apply technical and project-management skills to make sense of masses of data, increasing YouTube's value to music creators all over the globe.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience in internet technologies (e.g., Java, Python, SQL, etc.).
• Experience with data analysis, coding, engineering, and SQL queries.
• Experience working with technical and non-technical clients and stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:
• Experience working in a customer facing or partner facing role.
• Experience in the digital music industry.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
• Excellent project management skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to speak and write in English fluently.
