Job Description

In this role, you will lead the market in EMEA and the market globally. You will be the internal and external contact for YouTube in the UK and Ireland, driving YouTube's agenda within Google and externally with creators, partners, users, and the economic/media influencers in the region.

Your role will be to set the strategy for the region, work cross-functionally across Google and YouTube to deliver on that strategy and directly manage teams of Strategic Partner Managers. You will ensure the profitable and responsible growth of this critical region, in line with YouTube's overall strategy and mission.

Resonsibilities:
• Engage with local cross-functional teams and be able to clearly articulate the importance of each team's role within each country's strategy and identify, stay ahead of, and manage local challenges.
• Communicate opportunities and risks to influence product strategy. Represent externally across all aspects of content areas, strategy, policy, partnerships, and PR.
• Define strategies and priorities while aligning with global strategies across creators, artists, gamers, music, and media partners.
• Work with cross-functional teams (e.g., sales, marketing, policy, etc.) to set resourcing plans to deliver on country strategies and objectives.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications:
• Experience with commercial general management and working with partners in TV/media in the UK, and with talent/content creators.
• Experience influencing and building relationships with executives cross-functionally in a matrixed organization.
• Experience working in the public domain as a representative to media, government, and economic/social influencers.

Preferred qualifications:
• Experience in setting and executing strategies in high growth markets.
• Experience working in a global context and manage global/local agenda.
• Ability to influence and communicate cross-functionally and externally.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
