The YouTube Partner Program engages millions of content creators - a group that's growing quickly, and will grow even faster in the coming years. Many of these creators are responsible for ''what is original'' on YouTube, and are building the media companies of the future. Fast-paced, dynamic, and proactive, the Partner Development team makes sure that YouTube's creators around the world have a great experience and achieve success on the platform.

The Partner Development and Management team works with YouTube creators, media companies, labels, and artists by helping them develop their audience, grow their watch-time through delivering innovative and targeted best practices, solutions, and recommendations. In this role, you will lead a team focused on partner management across a diverse set of YouTube Artists and Labels. You will ensure global alignment and execution of the Partner Development and Management strategy; interact and collaborate with other teams such as Product and Partner Go-To-Market, Support Operations, Insights, Impact and Tools, and Marketing.

Resonsibilities:
• Lead, coach and manage a high-performing team of partner managers, including direct reports.
• Lead a team of partner managers to work with creators to understand their needs, share data insights, and deliver best practices and strategic business plans.
• Represent YouTube and the Partner Development and Management Team at workshops and industry events.
• Align in cross-functional teams to execute the team's global strategy to maintain a strong culture of collaboration and execution.
• Ensure that team members continue to develop skills that will help them achieve their career goals both on the team and beyond.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience working with customers/partners.
• 2 years of experience managing a team of direct reports.
• Experience with project management, including global projects, and change management.

Preferred qualifications:
• Experience in digital entertainment, studio/network, or digital platform.
• Ability to master analytics, basic modeling and formal corporate presentations.
• Ability to think and develop a direction/strategy.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills, including the ability to evaluate performance and provide feedback.
• Ability to speak and write Japanese fluently.
