Job Description

Our Legal team needs more than attorneys to keep things moving. Our Legal Operations team is charged with improving and maintaining the Legal team's internal processes, systems and tools. Responsible for tracking objectives, coordinating financial planning and solving technology challenges, you are entrepreneurial, proactive and highly organized. You keep costs down, engage third-party vendors and make the Legal team's services better, faster and more efficient.

Resonsibilities:
• Manage a team and set a roadmap on our legal removals strategy for YouTube in EMEA. Provide technical project management mentorship across multiple projects and focus areas such as tooling, transparency, and scaled operations.
• Plan and implement strategies for management of regulatory pressure and compliance efforts that scale to multiple markets.
• Manage removal requests efficiently and accurately, including trademark issues, counterfeit issues, defamation issues, court orders, and requests from government agencies.
• Respond to internal and external customer inquiries regarding YouTube's legal removals processes. Design and drive process improvements and infrastructure solutions to scale our operations and enhance operational quality.
• Develop internal and external educational materials, and design new workflows to support the strategic directions of the business.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in law, policy, and operations.
• Experience managing a team.
• Experience with project management and analysis.

Preferred qualifications:
• Experience in oraganizing a team, providing feedback, managing diverse talent, and engaging teams to succeed.
• Experience in working with tech Operations, scaled policy enforcement, and content moderation regulations.
• Experience in support operations, scaling an operation, and vendorizing processes.
• Knowledge of spreadsheet softwares, SQL, HTML, and/or Python.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and people management skills.
• Ability to speak and write in French, German, or Mandarin fluently.
