Strategy & Operations (S&O) professionals in Google's Marketing organization provide business critical insights and analytics, ensure cross-functional alignment of goals and execution, and help teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. Whether you are embedded within a specific marketing team to use insights to enable better marketing decisions or the global S&O function to equip the organization to succeed at scale, you will engage with Google leadership in order to establish Marketing's strategic direction. You will manage planning and operational processes and work cross-functionally with key partners across Marketing, Product, Finance and Engineering to solve our toughest challenges, advocate for high-priority projects, and drive greater operational excellence within Marketing.

To be successful in this role, you have a hypothesis-driven approach to problem solving, effective quantitative and communication skills, and the ability to take on broad-reaching and ambiguous questions while working collaboratively and cross-functionally with Googlers of all levels.

As Lead Strategy and Operations Manager, you will drive the organization's most strategic business planning exercises on behalf of the Strategy and Operations team annual planning, business goal setting, and measurements. You will shape the business narrative for YouTube Marketing and work across teams with executives to ensure resources are optimized and allocated to the right priorities and business goals. You will identify and drive strategic projects on behalf of the Strategic Planning and Investment team.

Resonsibilities:
• Shape the strategic business narrative and key priorities for YouTube Marketing.
• Drive and optimize the organization's business planning exercises, annual planning and quarterly business goal setting, and measurement.
• Ensure YouTube Marketing resources (i.e. headcount, budget) work together and identify and develop key marketing operations processes to improve overall organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Lead ad-hoc strategic projects and requests from executives including, but not limited to, market research, competitor research and analysis, and internal data analysis.
• Build subject matter expertise and stay up-to-date on best practices as they relate to key marketing practices, key performance indicators and evaluative criteria.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of experience in management consulting, strategy/operations, or consumer strategic marketing role.

Preferred qualifications:
• Experience presenting information to and developing relationships with executives.
• Experience bringing together cross-functional teams to complete work on time.
• Ability to set goals and prioritize many initiatives and opportunities with minimal guidance.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, present key findings, and apply findings to future programs throughout the region.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with peers and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent project management, multitasking, and quantitative and qualitative analysis skills.
