Director, Product Management, Sensitive Content

Job Description

As the Director, Product Management Sensitive Content you would be focused on work at the epicenter of the mission of the Trust & Safety team - keeping YouTube's users and the platform safe from those wishing to inflict harm. This would involve leading a team of Product Managers responsible for key verticals like Child Safety, Graphic Violence, Hate & Harassment, responsible for deploying solutions to help mitigate the harm caused by content in these verticals. Solutions include proactive detection and enforcement (powered by machine learning) as well as disrupting the abuse further upstream through responsible product design.

Although direct exposure to content safety or public policy issues is not necessary, it is critical that this leader excels in thinking about these types of multidisciplinary questions, and is unfazed by the complexity of these problems and addressing these sensitive issues.
