As a Copyright Operations Analytics Manager for YouTube Trust and Safety, you are responsible for formulating metrics, reporting strategies, and implementing analytical solutions to drive insights for successful enforcement operations at scale within Youtube.

You will lead a highly capable team of analysts to develop KPI and measurement across Copyright operations, understand and translate key business questions into metrics, and drive insights at an executive level to improve Copyright enforcement operations. Your team is responsible for providing metrics for business critical compliance and transparency reports. As a manager, you will be working cross-functionally and engaging with stakeholders from operations, legal, engineering, and Program Manager to co-own strategy and address a wide variety of complex issues such as regulatory reporting, reviewer efficiency, decision quality, enforcement timeliness, and violation risk.

This role will require managing teams across different time zones and on call/escalation work.

Resonsibilities:
• Formulate a practical and high impact long-term strategy and vision, and lead a dedicated analyst team to work with Operations, Product, and Engineering across YouTube Trust and Safety.
• Measure, analyze, and develop opportunities to enhance enforcement operations at scale in a high moving environment.
• Build a framework for scalability, producing well-validated transparency, and regulatory reports.
• Lead the team to create and deploy scaled solutions ranging from rigorous statistical measurements, experimentation and insight platforms, and robust externalized data and reporting pipelines.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders and partners in engineering, product, partnerships, policy, and legal to drive complex anti-abuse solutions involving and impacting various cross-functional areas.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of management experience leading or managing teams of analysts.
• Experience with risk, analytics, or abuse dynamics in online platforms.
• Experience with SQL across datasets.

Preferred qualifications:
• Experience with complex engineering and operations systems (e.g., machine learning classification and data infrastructure).
• Experience in consultative problem solving, project management, metrics analysis, experiment design, and automation.
• Knowledge of optimizing vendor operations at scale across policy labeling or decisions.
• Knowledge of product, legal, and policy, with an ability to communicate effectively.
• Analytic and problem solving skills, with the ability to translate analytical insights into business strategies and actions.
