Job Description
Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the voice of the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

As the Communities Strategic Program Manager for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives, you will deliver internally-focused community programs within the YouTube Marketing team and manage externally-focused marketing work. You'll balance strategic thinking and execution to operationalize projects, define needs with stakeholders, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate goals. You will work in a rapidly changing environment and be a self-starter, problem-solver, and relationship builder, connecting the dots for and with colleagues across the organization. You'll bring a passion for driving positive change and fostering collaboration and camaraderie.

Resonsibilities:
• Ideate, socialize, and deliver DEI programs designed to strengthen the culture within YouTube Marketing and support our communities. Craft and lead organizational communications as needed.
• Build ideas and special projects aligned with business priorities and objectives. Start workstreams, acting as the program manager across the organization.
• Own marketing workstreams, ideas, and projects for DEI initiatives, representing our work on behalf of Marketing across the YouTube organization.
• Manage budgets across Marketing teams and identify areas for increased strategic investment.
• Collaborate with channel experts and Product Marketing, Brand Marketing, and Finance teams to concept, launch, measure, and optimize marketing efforts.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• 6 years of experience in a consulting, strategy/operations, or marketing strategy role

Preferred qualifications:
• Experience developing and implementing marketing strategies and programs
• Experience building collaborative relationships with a variety of teams and functions
• Ability to present to and influence executive-level leaders
• Ability to set goals and prioritize multiple initiatives and opportunities with minimal guidance
• Ability to work and connect with partners globally
• Outstanding organizational, critical-thinking, project management, and written and verbal communication skills with peers, management, and cross-functional teams
