As an Analytics Program Manager, you will have a passion for user safety and will help scale a rapidly growing set of initiatives to protect users across our platform. In this role, you will interface with teams across Data Science, Product, Engineering, and Operations to organize and lead cross-functional efforts to improve safety and transparency. In this role, you may be exposed to graphic, controversial, and sometimes offensive video content during team escalations in line with YouTube's Community Guidelines.
Resonsibilities:
• Lead policy initiatives focused on user safety, experience, internal quality, and operational efficiency (e.g., Badness Reduction, Utilization, Quality, and User Appeals.).
• Identify key issues across our abuse-fighting landscape and leverage influential skills to scope, prioritize, and resource global initiatives.
• Explore data and conduct detailed analyses that result in actionable insights to improve performance.
• Partner with YouTube Trust and Safety leadership, product, engineering, legal, and operations to drive improvements in core metrics.
• Apply expertise to project planning, status reporting, timeline estimation, issue tracking, meeting facilitation, and process documentation.
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications:
• 3 years of program management experience.
• Experience in project management, relationship building, and stakeholder management with cross-functional teams.
• Experience working with SQL.
Preferred qualifications:
• MBA.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent project-management and communication skills with a high attention to detail.
