Job Summary/Description:

WVVA is looking to fill a rare opportunity at our station in Bluefield, WV a Video Journalist/News Videographer. We are looking for a talented video journalist and news videographer to join our award-winning news team. We're looking for someone with high energy and a positive attitude, who has experience shooting and editing news stories, conducting interviews, and coordinating live shots with reporters. The ideal candidate should be knowledgeable with video and editing equipment and have a creative vision for storytelling. We report news on every platform so you must also be able to utilize social media to serve our audiences. Responsible for maintaining assigned gear, operating drone and satellite truck as needed.

Qualifications/Requirements:
• 1-2 years of experience as a television editor/photographer preferred.
• Drone certification a plus.
• Responsible for maintaining assigned gear, operating satellite truck and bonded cellular live devises (Live U).
• Driving a company vehicle and any other duties as assigned.
• Flexible work schedule required, must be willing to work a variety of shifts as well as holidays.
• Must have valid driver's license and pass a motor vehicle records check.
