WUTV/WNYO in Buffalo NY is seeking a full-time Digital Content Producer!

Responsibilities:
• Creating, uploading, updating, and maintaining digital content for FOX29 News at TEN and social media platforms
• Editing and posting relevant news materials from reporter and producers onto the website
• Creating web-based content on local news/weather/sports
• Developing, writing, editing and posting content for all digital platforms including stories, push alerts, live coverage
• Identify and post engaging, timely and relevant content
• Create, edit and post to social media platforms
• Work with the news & promotions teams to create WUTV 10pm News promotional spots for on-air, digital and social

Skills:
• Solid news judgement
• Compelling and accurate news writer
• Proficiency with non-linear editing (Adobe Premiere & AVID)
• Must be extremely proficient with the use of social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
• Creative in cross-promotions between on-air and online
• Capability to communicate effectively with reporters, promotion, management, and online viewers
• Willing to work weekends, overnights and holidays as needed
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment

Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Journalism or Communications preferred
