Job Summary/Description:
WSMV, the award-winning NBC affiliate in Nashville, Tennessee (Market #27) is looking for a highly creative full-time Senior Marketing Producer. This role demands direct knowledge of all aspects of video production, and the ideal candidate must demonstrate strong skills in writing, DSLR cinematography, lighting, graphics and editing with the ability to produce a variety of creative assets for WSMV 4 News and independently create top-quality multi-platform advertising using the Adobe Creative Suite. The Senior Marketing Producer will work with the Creative Service team and report to the Promotions Manager. This is not an entry level position.
Duties/Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Produce breakthrough advertising that advances the station's brand position and grows audience on all platforms.
- Conceptualize, write, shoot and edit multi-platform marketing assets for news promotion and station branding.
- Must have strong lighting and audio skills.
- Collaborate with the Creative Services and News teams to conceptualize and create content that will help expand our rapidly-growing broadcast and digital media.
- Proficient with Adobe Premier, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects.
- Other high skill sets include production equipment, software, and techniques including: camera, lens, lighting, audio, software, software plugins.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- A minimum of three years video production experience.
- To be considered, candidates must provide a creative reel demonstrating advanced knowledge of video production, especially Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, and DSLR cinematography.
- Experience with drone operation (FAA license) is a plus. Degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Advertising, Film/Video or other related field preferred.
- A clean driving record is required.
