Temporary Part-time Sports Reporter

WRGB has an opportunity for a temporary, part-time Sports Reporter. You will lead our sports coverage on-air and online. We want someone that can create memorable stories that appeal to sports and non-sports fans. You must have a passion for going beyond scores & highlights and telling authentic stories.

Skills and Experience:
• Strong leader with a fantastic work ethic and time management skills
• Dynamic live television and storytelling skills are a must
• Must be able to shoot, write and edit while working under deadline pressure
• A self-starter who can generate their story ideas daily
• Ability to demonstrate enterprise sports reporting and creativity in storytelling
• Exemplary communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to maintain an active social media presence to build the brand and solicit original story ideas
• Previous sports experience is a must
