Job Summary/Description:

WRDW/WAGT is looking for a Weekend Sports Anchor/News MMJ to shoot, report, and edit sports stories and video as well as produce and anchor weekend sportscasts on air and on digital platforms. Position also includes researching and reporting news three days or nights a week.

Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) the following:

Covering and reporting on daily sports or news stories, producing a daily package.
Producing and anchoring sportscast for weekend evening newscasts.
Reporting on sporting events, features as needed.
Writing creatively and conversationally in styles for both broadcast and online.
Other duties as assigned.
Ability and willingness to be a self-starter, work indepeden

Qualifications/Requirements:

Valid Drivers License and good driving record as identified by Gray MVR standards.
Willingness and ability to work flexible schedule.
Skill operating video camera and non-linear video editing equipment.
Excellent writer and storyteller, with solid editorial judgment and ethics.
Fully vaccinated against COVID
