Our next Weekend sports anchor will have a passion for sports that shines in every newscast and across all platforms. WPTA doesn't just show highlights, we tell sports stories that connect with our viewers.
Job Summary/Description:
Our next Weekend sports anchor will have a passion for sports that shines in every newscast and across all platforms. WPTA doesn't just show highlights, we tell sports stories that connect with our viewers.
The successful candidate will bring dynamic anchoring skills to the desk, but also report, edit, and shoot video in the field. We want you to create shareable stories across all platforms, including our website, mobile platforms and social media.
Qualifications/Requirements:
This sports opportunity requires -
• Journalism/Communication degree or equivalent preferred
• Previous newsroom experience or Internship
• Non-linear editing knowledge
• Knowledge of iNews or similar producing software
