WPTA TV produces newscasts and digital content for the ABC and NBC television stations serving Fort Wayne, Ind., and neighboring communities. Job Summary/Description:

The meteorologist will produce and deliver forecasts for ABC21, play a key role in breaking weather coverage and digital/social weather content and report for newscasts, as well.

Create and deliver forecasts for weekend morning newscasts and elsewhere, as assigned. Produce weather-related content for website, app and social media. Coordinate with three other meteorologists for coverage of major weather events. This position will include regular reporting duties in addition to studio weather responsibilities.

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Degree in meteorology or related field; internship or other relevant experience; familiarity with WSI computer systems and video editing software.
