Sales Associate - Temporary

WPHL-TV is looking for a temporary Sales Associate!
Overview:

This position is an integral part of sales. The Temporary Sales Associate is a creative thinker who can assist our Account Executive's in selling our multimedia properties, including, but not limited to, television commercials, station websites, apps, social media, off-site partners, and agency services.

This position works with the sales management team including National Sales Manager, Local Sales Managers, and Digital Sales Manager in supporting the sales department and sales operations. This position reports directly to the National Sales Manager. Expected length of employment us up to three months.

Responsibilities:

Major responsibilities and efforts include but are not limited to:
• Review and enter sales orders into industry standard software (Wide Orbit Traffic)
• Prepare and send pre logs and post logs to agencies and advertisers
• Support and assist the AE's and Sales Manager's drive for revenue growth for the station and company;
• Work at a partnership/consultative level as an expert in TV and digital advertising with account executives, agencies, and advertisers.
• Knowledge of all digital sales products, inventory management and pricing strategies.
• Help create strong business relationships and develop a sense of team with the Account Executives and assist them with targeting, building, negotiating and closing deals.
• Brainstorm with sales people for creative marketing promotions that leverage the digital and broadcast assets.
• Produce reporting, presentations, and other support functions of Sales.
