Senior News Producer - WOIO / Wuab

Job Summary/Description:
WOIO is seeking a full-time Senior Producer. You will be responsible for writing/producing compelling and visually appealing newscasts fo all platforms. Must be a strong, punchy writer with impeccable news judgment and have the ability to craft compelling rundowns that emphasize urgency, immediacy, Breaking News, Disruptive and Breaking Weather and other ''Alert'' areas of content. This producer will be responsible for the 6pm newscast and may oversee other special station projects.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must have at least three (3) years of producing experience at a local or national broadcast outlet.
- Must be able to work well under pressure with a diverse group of people.
- Strong communication skills and knowledge of AP Style required.
- Bilingual journalism/language skills are a plus, but not required.
- Other duties as assigned by News Management.
