Job Summary/Description:

WLUC-TV6 is looking for a Weekend Meteorologist who would also work as a Multi-Media Journalist. This person is a great communicator on-air and on our digital and social platforms. This person is the primary back up for our Chief Meteorologist and Morning Meteorologist. The right person is responsible for forecasting weather in one of the more challenging areas of the country because of Lake Superior and Lake Michigan.

The primary job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Working knowledge of weather computers/systems
• Writing for on-air and online
• Working knowledge of videography
• Working knowledge of video editing
• A conversational style of delivery for on-air and unscripted material with weather graphics
• Must meet deadlines and be able to multi-task
• Great attitude and enjoy working with others
• Strong work ethic
• Enjoy talking with people
• Social Media involvement and knowledge

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Professional appearance (Business)
• Valid Driver's License
• Pass a Drug Test
