Job Description

At WLBZ-TV, we want a smart news hound with a heart. A Multiskilled Journalist who can enterprise impact stories in the greater-Bangor area for a statewide audience for broadcast and digital.

Responsibilities: In this job you will pitch, set-up, shoot, write and edit stories daily and often wrap them with LIVE shots. In short, we are looking for an aggressive journalist who wants to be the best storyteller, best live reporter, and provide the best social media and web product for the state of Maine.

Job Requirements:

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism or similar field
• 1+ years' experience as an MSJ/MMJ (school news gathering and/or internship)
• Experience in videography, editing, and posting to the internet
• Active on Twitter, FB, Instagram, and Snapchat
• Knowledge of ENPS, Edius, and Axis graphics a plus
