Job Summary/Description:

WLBT is looking for a full-time news producer to join the largest news team in Mississippi! This person will be responsible for the day-to-day production of one of our newscasts.

Duties/Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Produce a creative and engaging newscast daily
- Work with anchors and reporters on their stories to focus on the viewer's impact
- Find unique ways to showcase stories in newscasts
- Adapt to breaking news and developing stories

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Journalism or related field preferred
- Strong writing and grammar skills
- Must be able to work well under deadline
- Must have strong organizational skills
