Jackson, MS is market #96 with a 24 county DMA. Job Summary/Description:

We are looking for a leader. Someone who leads by example from the anchor desk and in our newsroom. Can you guide and lead our viewers through breaking news and complex issues skillfully and with poise and clarity? If so, we invite you to consider joining us as an Anchor at WLBT, Mississippi's dominant legacy leader in television news.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Anchor morning newscast
- Gather content and cover stories as assigned
- Active on our digital platforms
- Be an approachable leader within the newsroom

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years experience as an Anchor or Multimedia Journalist in a television newsroom
- Excellent delivery and camera presence
- Good writing and video editing skills
