Job Summary/Description:

WLBT is looking for a Graphic Artist/Designer who loves local news. The right candidate will be passionate about contemporary graphic news design ideas and new ways to showcase our content.

WLBT is looking for a talented graphic/motion artist to join its news team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a creative, deadline driven, fast-paced environment and be able to help grow the WLBT News brand through strong visual communication and animation. This position is responsible for working directly with the news team daily on producer and reporter driven projects. Additionally, you will be the primary artists for our special report development.

Your primary responsibility is to serve WLBT News, but there will be occasional assistance with Sales and Marketing projects. Your work will be used across WLBT platforms (on-air, digital and mobile platforms.) This Designer will be developing and using our graphics package and brand elements as a foundation.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Knowledge of Adobe Cloud Suite (emphasis on Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects)
- Knowledge of Vizrt.
- Knowledge of Google Earth Pro.
- Proven examples of graphic design across platforms including brand development and rollout.
- Knowledge of television broadcast practices for graphically driven content presentations.
