Job Summary/Description:

A unique position for a unique person! This person will host and report news live, as it happens from our newsroom, across all our digital platforms. WLBT in Jackson, MS, for decades, has been a ratings leader and by every measure has an even more dominant digital presence. This position also offers the opportunity to do enterprise reporting. If you can talk on camera, while guiding viewers through breaking news and complex issues skillfully, and also report and engage on digital platforms, this position is custom made for you.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Host, produce and direct their shows live online and on-air.
- Report on digital platforms.
- Strategically engage on social media

Qualifications/Requirements:
- On Camera skills
- Track record of compelling enterprise reporting
- Journalism or related fields degree or comparable work or military experience
