Job Summary/Description:

WLBT-TV has an immediate, full-time opening, for a Building Maintenance Engineer. If you're handy with your hands this could be a perfect job for you. We think of our building and grounds as our home. If you can do maintenance around your home and would like to do the same on a larger scale this could be a chance of a lifetime. Do you like to paint, maybe do some wood working or other light construction? You might be the perfect person for this job! If you desire we can also provide more training for Broadcast Engineering which could further your career!

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Work alongside of every department
• Maintain and repair all aspects of the building and grounds
• Conduct regular maintenance checks on plumbing and HVAC
• Write maintenance strategies to help with installation and commissioning guidelines
• Control maintenance tools, stores, and equipment
• Deal with emergencies, unplanned problems, and repairs

Qualifications/Requirements:
• MUST BE SELF-MOTIVATED!
• Have general knowledge of electrical circuits
• Be familiar with painting
• Be able to do light construction and repairs
• Be able to lift 75 pounds
• Be able to coordinate HVAC repairs and maintenance
• Have a general knowledge of plumbing and repairs
