Job Summary/Description:
WLBT-TV has an immediate, full-time opening, for a broadcast engineer. If you've been doing broadcast engineering and want a bigger challenge this could be a dream job for you. You will be dealing with everything from equipment maintenance, installation, integration and repair. This is for all types of television broadcast equipment. If you're wanting to grow and do more this is for you!
Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Deal with emergencies, unplanned problems, and repairs
• Work alongside every department and provide engineering and technical support
• Install and maintain all types of broadcast equipment
• Be familiar with satellite reception and dish operations
Qualifications/Requirements:
• 2 years Television Broadcast experience required
• Must be familiar with Analog and Digital television
• Must understand computer integration
• Have a good working knowledge of general broadcasting and broadcast equipment
• Ability to document electronically the maintenance that they accomplish
