Job Summary/Description:
The Technical Media Producer has the general responsibility of monitoring WKYT's on-air streams and FCC logs, ingesting daily programming and commercials, and directing live newscasts, as well as pre-recorded productions as assigned.
Duties/Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
-Direct live newscasts and pre-recorded productions as assigned and monitor all on-air streams for WKYT.
-Operation of Ross Overdrive automation, Harris automation, and all supporting equipment in Production/Master Control: including the ability to effectively perform at the following: commercial/promo ingesting, satellite operation, program ingesting/segmenting and a working knowledge of web production.
-Daily care and maintenance of equipment and studio.
-Work with other departments to meet all daily demands.
-Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
-Work schedule may vary due to operation demands and will include mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
