Job Summary/Description:

WKTB has immediate full-time opening for an Editor/Videographer. Position involves shooting and editing news video daily under deadline. Applicants should be highly skilled in non-linear editing, be able to work independently and with others, and work quickly with attention to detail and accuracy.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Shooting, but mostly editing, multiple news video for various newscasts.
- Collaborating with producers, and other newsroom members toward the goal of selecting and editing best visuals to represent newscast content.
- Working with accuracy and attention to detail under multiple daily deadlines
- Fill in Technical Director as needed to switch our 5:30 - 6 and 11 pm newscast.
- Provide technical support and camera for reporters during live shots on the field
- The editor and videographer will be the person supporting the newsroom when producing investigative work, daily coverage, interviews, and the daily editing of packages.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Hands-on experience and knowledge of non-linear editing equipment and professional video camera equipment is a must.
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of prior Editor experience, preferably in a TV Newsroom.
- Must be dependable, able to work nights and weekend nights.
- Applicants should have or be in the process of obtaining a bachelor's degree in journalism or mass communications with a concentration on video production or have equivalent experience.
- Position requires a valid driver's license and good driving record.
