News Production Assistant (PT)

WKEF in Dayton Ohio has an exciting opportunity for a part-time News Production Assistant!

Responsibilities include:
• Operate Camera for our (Morning, Evening, Weekend) Newscast
• Prep for newscasts including but not limited to:
• Studio and set preparation
• Maintaining studio
• Lighting
• Teleprompter
• Other duties as assigned
• Assist with other productions like Thursday Night Lights
• Edit video and other content for digital platforms

Experience:
• Experience is not necessary, but education and/or internship in television or related field preferred
• Training will be provided

General Hours:
• Must be able to work on weekends and holidays
• Other hours as needed, on occasion
