Job Summary/Description:

The Digital News Producer position requires someone who has written news stories professionally or in college. Must be an excellent organizer, who can write, edit and arrange stories for all social medial platforms. Ideal candidate is a multi-tasker who can handle producing, making beat calls, working with field reporters on web and social media inputting. Candidate will be a major contributor to news meetings. Must understand how to attract interaction via creative digital media productions.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Producing for all social media platforms.
- Writing and editing video
- Keeping a high digital content presence on all shifts.
- Push notification headlines
- Rapid breaking news to web and social media.
- Crew interaction
- Suggesting stories for social media and broadcast.
- Monitoring scanner traffic and making beat calls.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- College degree preferred.
