Job Summary/Description:

WFSB is looking for an early morning anchor for our 4:30am newscast. This person will also serve as a breaking news anchor for our 5-7am newscast and our digital, social and OTT platforms. Enterprise and in-depth reporting for other time periods are also part of the job. Must be active and engaged on social media.

Duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Ability to work in a creative, fast paced environment
- Ability to make quick decisions without losing composure
- Must be able to manage multiple projects and assignments simultaneously
- Previous experience with script writing and editorial experience preferred

Qualifications/Requirements:

Education – Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism, Communications or related field or equivalent training and/or experience

Experience – Two years' experience in broadcast journalism preferred. Experience reporting news and/or newscast producing at a commercial television station preferred.
