Job Summary/Description:

WDAM, Gray Television's NBC & ABC affiliate in Hattiesburg/Laurel, MS, has an immediate opening for an experienced Account Executive to join our team of integrated marketing/advertising professionals. The right candidate will be a good communicator, intelligent, high-energy, who likes working with people.

You will be given a list of current clients, but your real job will be to develop new business to grow and maintain a full customer portfolio. You will build dynamic presentations customized to grow your client's business and participate in forecasting monthly, quarterly and annual results.

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required
• 2 years of Sales experience OR a background or education in Business
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
• Ability to use creativity to solve problems
• Ability to develop campaigns and motivate others
• A real desire to understand your clients and their businesses
• A thirst for ongoing learning: advertising, marketing, television, digital
• Knowledge of presentation software, MS Office products
• Must meet Gray Television's driving requirements and have a valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation and vehicle insurance required
