News Production Assistant (FT)

WCIV has an exciting opportunity for a full-time News Production Assistant!

Responsibilities include:
• Prep for newscasts including but not limited to:
• Studio and set preparation
• Running TelePrompTer, Camera, and Floor Directing for live and recorded elements
• Maintaining studio
• Maintaining lighting
• Some editing for newscasts, as needed
• Some audio operation for newscasts, as needed
• Clipping and posting elements for the web
• Other duties as assigned

Experience:
• Experience is not necessary, but education and/or internship in television or related field preferred
• Training will be provided

General Hours: Monday - Friday, 3:45am - 11:45am
• Must be able to work some weekends
• Other hours as needed, on occasion
