Job Summary/Description:

WBTV is looking for a full-time Marketing Producer to join our award-winning team. The ideal candidate must have a passion for marketing and video production. Strong organizational and communication skills are a must along with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively to create effective brand image campaigns.

The primary job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Write, shoot, and edit video content to promote WBTV, First Alert Weather, and QC Life (lifestyle) brands
• Write/Shoot/Edit public service announcements and event sponsorships, as needed
• Assist in station sponsored events when needed
• Work with news and marketing teams to promote upcoming stories, specials, and special coverage as needed
• Create and post digital brand content to social media
• Assist in scheduling and placing inventory and outside media buys

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications (or similar) or equivalent work experience preferred
• 2+ years experience using Adobe Creative Suite including but not limited to: Photoshop, Premiere, & After Effects required
• 2+ years cinematography experience. This includes understanding of professional video and lighting equipment
• Ability to produce station promos from concept to completion, including writing scripts, shooting, editing, and production of graphics
• Drone certification and experience using drones is a plus
• A strong background in design, motion graphics, and video production is a plus
• Ability to collaborate with multiple departments on project development and assist with other duties as assigned
