WBRC FOX6 News, the dominant, #1 ranked Gray-owned station in Birmingham, Alabama (Market 45) has an immediate opening for a talented, motivated, and results-oriented Digital Sales Manager to join our energetic and professional sales team.

Job Summary/Description:

The Digital Sales Manager will lead the station's efforts in the development of new and incremental digital business; reduce digital churn; oversee the station's digital sales specialist while coaching, training, mentoring and leading a top-notch group of local Account Executives. This is not a desk job – our next DSM will hit the streets daily alongside our AEs to develop deep and mutually beneficial relationships with current and future clients. The DSM will work in concert with our GSM, LSM, & NSM to provide a unified approach to client solutions, that include digital assets. Candidates must be able to demonstrate a consistent and successful track record of leadership in delivering strong sales results (i.e. hitting budgets!).

Expected to help increase digital revenue with the sales team by doing the following:
* Assist the MSC in building presentations when digital is part of the discussion
* Provide or assist in strategy when deciding what to pitch to a client and prepare the recommendation page along with supporting slides
* Pitch the digital products in conjunction with the MSC. This should be a team effort
* Responsible for putting together digital reporting including Google Analytics information (if applicable) for the MSC and attend the reporting meetings to review and interpret results accurately
* Responsible for providing optimization suggestions to increase effectiveness for campaigns
* If there are any campaign changes that need to be done for a client, it is your responsibility to communicate those particular changes to the Sales Assistants
* Responsible for making sure digital campaigns are running correctly. This includes giving all necessary information needed to the Sales Assistants for campaigns to launch correctly, checking vendor sites regarding campaigns running accurately, checking TapClicks for performance and making sure campaigns will fully deliver each month on both core and extended products
* Responsible for preparing and communicating monthly digital statistics for all core platforms to the team
* Expected to help provide sales leads to the team in order to increase digital revenue
* Provide client research on their digital landscape for AEs prior to their CNA with said client

Qualifications/Requirements:
* Candidate should have a minimum of two years digital sales experience with a digital or broadcast company
* Knowledge of MS Office products
