WATE-TV, Knoxville's ABC affiliate, is looking for a Multimedia Storyteller/Producer for our daily lifestyle show, Living East Tennessee. The right candidate will be active and community oriented. This person must be a good writer and storyteller, a solid editor, be detail-oriented, creative, and organized. Successful candidate will also work well under pressure and be able to multi-task. Must have positive energy and a great on-air presence. Storyteller/MMJ experience required. Producing experience preferred. This is a full-time position

Job Responsibilities:
• Shoots, writes and edits story content, including stand-ups
• Collaborates with Executive Producer on content generation
• Serves as back-up to Executive Producer
• Pitches story ideas
• Makes community connections
• Collaborates with account executives on sponsored segments
• Maintains video and editing equipment
• Contributes to digital and social media content
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements & Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in journalism or related field
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Minimum two years' experience operating video recording equipment
• Proficiency with video recording equipment
• Proficiency with video editing equipment
• Experience with ENPS
• Knowledge of lighting techniques and on camera presentation skills
• Understanding of social media use for content promotion
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
