As the independent distribution arm of Warner Music Group, ADA works closely with artists and label partners from around the world to help realize our common goals for promoting music on a global basis while optimizing sales opportunities.

The Physical Sales & Marketing role sits at the center of ADA, collaborating with the US and international markets, label management & services, sales, operations, finance, business affairs/legal and the whole of Warner Music Group.

Your role:

This position will manage all aspects of the physical sales and marketing division within ADA. Focus also includes maintaining and developing strong label and partner relations and being the primary and leading advocate for ADA accounts and the WMX/ADA Sales & Marketing team.

This role will focus on growing the business of our partners, establishing efficient & standardized processes, as well as identifying growth and innovation opportunities within the space including direct to consumer initiatives. This position must cultivate strong relationships with partners and work cross-functionally across ADA and WMX/WMG to drive results.

Here you'll get to:
• Develop and optimize ADA's physical processes, workflow, reporting and communications to standardize client experience and grow overall business.
• Manage a team of two people and a consultant on the US Physical Sales team
• Drive label and artist priorities through the Label Management, Commerce and Marketing teams to achieve measurable success for both frontline and catalog opportunities.
• Drive Top 200 titles and take initiative to work with the labels to create and employ tactics to aggressively chase chart position
• Point of escalation for the US and International teams on critical operational and sales issues affecting labels and priority releases.
• Identify growth and innovation opportunities in physical business, recommending actions to be taken including direct to consumer initiatives, including merch and other partnerships and acquisitions.
• Own and cultivate relationships with label partners, sales accounts, third party vendors as well as relevant stakeholders within WMX/WMG.
• Effectively convey the label goals and vision of ADA to sales and advertising teams.
• Execute and oversee the layout of all ADA titles to accounts.
• Work with Labels, Label Development and WMX to determine SLO and first week digital and physical projections
• Work with Labels and Director of Advertising in giving the proper promotional and advertising direction to the sales team.
• Work with Head of Marketing and Head of Global Partnerships in determining weekly priorities.
• Assist in determining impact programs for new release and developing artists.
• Aggressively pursue label catalog opportunities with the ADA Marketing Manager.
• Work closely with Digital Department to make sure we are maximizing all promotional opportunities for our releases.
• Work with the Inventory Management team to ensure we have proper stock in our distribution center.
• Develop and implement new concepts to better achieve sales goals including being a stakeholder in our technology and operations developing and process efficiencies
• Visit accounts as a representative of ADA to support strategies/philosophies. Plan on travel.
• Manage and maintain the ADA relationship with the independent retail coalitions.
• Provide positive solutions and insight to any and all account/staff questions or concerns.
• Work with the Finance team and ADA Management in the forecasting process.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required.

Job Posting Range
$125,000 to $165,000 Annually

Job Posting Ranges are included for all New York and California job postings and 100% remote roles where talent can be located in NYC and CA. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
