The People team sits at the heart of Warner Music Group and is focused on attracting, retaining and developing exceptional people, enabling them to be the best they can be to drive Warner's continued success in the marketplace. The team designs, implements and facilitates People programs around Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Learning & Development, Employee Engagement, Compensation and Benefits, People Technology and People Operations. Our team also partners with the business to support key organisational initiatives. Our People team are looking for a top notch, global HR leader with an exceptional track record of inspiring people teams internationally and driving large-scale and often cross-functional transformation programmes across complex, multi-national organisations. This exciting Maternity Cover opportunity sits in our Global People Leadership team, reporting directly to our Chief People Officer. Creative, culturally curious, operationally strong and commercially orientated leaders who can craft and execute on an ambitious people agenda will be successful in this role.

You'll hold accountability for our global People Programmes, People Technology, People Operations and People Analytics team, whilst delivering large-scale business transformation, acting as the sounding board to our Chief People Officer and supporting our international people partnering community. You'll be a driver of change, growth-minded and relentless in your focus to deliver on our employee value proposition, exercising extraordinary stakeholder management skills and still being hands on enough to deliver!

Here you'll get to:

Global People Team Leadership
• With the Global People Leadership team, develop our people and culture strategy and roadmap, delivering outcomes and measuring progress
• Motivate, engage, coach, lead and manage the People Programmes, People Operations, People Technology and People Analytics functions as their model continually evolves
• Collaborate with and support our international People Partnering community through informal matrix leadership, to develop and embed company-wide initiatives
• Provide impactful, inclusive, authentic leadership and coaching to the people team as a whole - attracting, hiring, motivating, developing and engaging talent
• Understand the business' models, goals, vision and culture to align People priorities.
• Manage the global People team budget and budgeting process, in partnership with the SVP, Comp & Benefits.
• Navigate complex situations, environments, business and team dynamics
• Partner with people team specialists (eg T&D, C&B etc) to deliver the people agenda.

Programmes / Transformation
• Partnering with the EVP and Chief People Officer, provide programme leadership and change management expertise to cross-functional projects and global people initiatives
• Courageously drive global change, transforming cultures, evangelizing a unified vision for the People team and transforming the way the business thinks and operates
• Develop strategic partnerships with executives on business transformations and transitions, operationalising their implementation (eg M&A, organisation design etc)
• Identify trends and propose programmes to keep WMG at the cutting edge of HR

People Operations and People Analytics
• Refine and evolve the People Operations model, building consistency in global services to ensure the 'silent running' of HR transactions and enquiries
• Lead a customer focused and employee experience centric service model
• Champion the use of a data-driven approach, using insight to inform business decisions and raising the profile and visibility of the People Analytics team
• Drive simplification and digitization across People Operations globally
• Represent the People team on global committees (Risk Management, Data Privacy, DEI etc).

People Technology
• Oversee the evolution of People Technology from a Workday team to a broader HR technologies focused team
• Support the VP, People Technology to shift the model to a value adding partnership that focuses on enhancing digital capabilities and automating ways of working
• Align with peer group on priorities to inform the People Technology roadmap
• Champion investments in People Technology amongst executive leadership
• Provide sign off on audit requirements per SOX controls to ensure segregation of duties.

• Demonstrable track record as Global HR Leader/Head of HR – leading specialist and partnering teams, whilst working on cross-functional business priorities
• Broad spectrum of skills spanning: international HR business partnership, M&A, transformation, people operations, analytics and technology
• Authentic, inclusive, engaging, inspiring people leader who can navigate internal politics and empower teams to develop, grow and deliver
• Programme management and delivery capabilities – highly organised, structured global programme leader and champion with track record of hands on delivery
• Highly analytical, insight driven and tech savvy; appreciates data privacy matters
• Accustomed to fast-growing, rapidly changing environments, bringing agility to a dynamic, complex, international and creative organisation
• Extremely resilient, with an ability to exude calm and confidence
• High tolerance of ambiguity and flexible approach
• Strategic advisors with strong business / commercial acumen
• Clear communicator – impactful storyteller who can engage stakeholders
• Critical thinker, problem-solver and analyst who can cut through complexity
• Exceptional conflict management, negotiation and influencing skills

• Experience transforming the HR operating model
• Workday process owner experience (HCM)
• Experience working internationally
