Job Title: Senior Manager, PPM Operations

A little bit about our team:

The WMG Global Technology Project Management Office was created to unify the global IT portfolio, program, & project management competencies under one organization. We are responsible for the people, processes, & tools needed to provide these competencies to the global WMG Technology Organization and its customers. We are enabling the move to one unified, global IT organization by establishing & implementing best practices, and maintaining standards related to portfolio, program, & project management, planning, & execution. We provide a central repository for project methods, documentation, and metrics. We strive to improve the consistency, efficiency, and costs of global program & project delivery and to drive improved benefits realization through effective planning.

Your role:

Reporting to the Senior Director, PMO Operations under the Global Technology Project Management Office (PMO), this Senior Manager will be responsible for the suite of tools supporting the Portfolio Project Management functions provided by the Global IT PMO. This individual will be responsible for defining, implementing, and maintaining the PPM Tools strategy for the Global PMO which includes but is not limited to tool selection, implementation, integrations, rollout, training, and support. This individual will also be responsible for continuous improvement of PPM tools, ensuring that they keep pace with process improvements planned by the Global IT PMO. It is expected that this individual will leverage best-in-class solutions to meet the PMO automation needs.

Here you'll get to:

PPM Toolset Evaluation, Strategy, & Implementation (90%)
• Assist PMO leadership in defining requirements for, implementing, and maintaining a suite of PPM tools to support a global organization, including functions for Portfolio Management and Project Management
• Identify, evaluate, & select tools to support the Portfolio and Project Management capabilities
• Evaluate existing Atlassian toolset and identify opportunities to fortify and extend its capabilities to support a global rollout
• Drive configuration, deployment, and training for the new integrated toolset
• Create and implement an operational support plan that allows the PMO to efficiently manage & maintain the integrated toolset
• Support the PMO team to evaluate new tools and process changes as needed
• As new tools are implemented, define the appropriate support model and ensure that appropriately-skilled resources are identified to provide on-going support

Existing Tool Support (10%)
• Provide Tier-2/Tier-3 support for existing WMG PMO toolsets – Workfront and Monday.com as well as Atlassian tools like JIRA and Confluence with related plugins including Tempo Timesheets & Tempo Budgets
• Provide oversight to the Tier-1 off-site support team and backup all ticket & issue resolution as needed. Attend daily stand-up sessions as needed
• Develop ad-hoc dashboards or reports to provide end-users and business leadership with meaningful operational/performance metrics
• Oversee User Management within the Adobe and Atlasian toolsets; provide user training as necessary. Assess and prioritize end user needs and requests.
• Install, manage and administer tool's add-ons, plugins, and extensions.
• Interact with third party vendors (plugin developers) for support, troubleshooting & billing/invoicing
• Establish and promote best practices for the usage of Adove and Atlassian tools
• Design and support any custom project workflows, custom fields, and custom configurations.
• Support financial reporting processes, particularly Month End processes & Invoicing
• Partner and collaborate with stakeholders:

With PMO Delivery team, Finance & other IT teams to provide the necessary reporting and metrics With DevOps and Application Support team to manage & deploy any bug fixes or new features as well as manage Adobe and Atlassian infrastructure, implement upgrades and coordinate any issues

• Undergraduate or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related discipline
• Experience managing PPM tools like Workfront and Atlassian tools (JIRA/Confluence & other plugins) for medium-large scale enterprises
