Job Title: Senior Manager (Contract Administration), Business and Legal Affairs
A little bit about our team:
WMG Global Catalog/Rhino Entertainment is the catalog division of Warner Music Group responsible for advancing the legacy of Warner's iconic artists and optimizing the performance of Warner's catalog of recorded music. Rhino's dynamic Business and Legal Affairs team share a passion for music and value hard work with a creative, problem solving mindset. We focus on innovative deals with and for WMG artists in areas of recorded music, brand licensing, and ancillary exploitation. We work cross-functionally with A&R, marketing, fan engagement, commerce, and finance to structure deals and further strong relationships with our artists. We field inquiries in connection with US catalog repertoire, manage both pre-litigation claims and litigations in conjunction with WMG's corporate litigation in-house counsel, and enforce WMG's rights in connection with the same. We also liaise with our affiliated labels Atlantic, Elektra and Warner Records as well as WMG's corporate teams.
Your role:
You will be challenged to put your skills to work as a highly efficient, self-motivated, solutions-oriented Business & Legal Affairs manager with a solid background and emphasis in contract administration. As an essential member of our team, you'll be responsible for negotiating and drafting ancillary agreements and licenses, tracking and administering deals, and providing general support for business affairs matters.
Here you'll get to:
• Negotiate, draft, and finalize license agreements and extensions for sound recordings Rhino licenses for inclusion in Rhino titles.
• Negotiate and draft photo license agreements.
• Oversee all US catalog tracking related to upcoming rights expirations, notifying the team of any such expirations and providing support with related research and contract analysis.
• Negotiate license extension terms in connection with such expirations where appropriate and implement the extensions of such licenses.
• Facilitate loss of rights notifications and procedures.
• Facilitate approvals and and process invoices.
• Maintain department database of project status and payment collections, following up and collecting on outstanding payments.
• Liaise with the Royalty and Licensing departments to ensure implementation of agreements.
• Facilitate various matters with the Licensing, Synch, Art, Marketing, Publicity, Digital, Sales, Operations, Production, A&R, Finance, Royalties and Rights Administration teams, both domestically and via international affiliates.
• Collaborate with Business & Legal Affairs attorneys on various tasks/projects as needed.
About you:
• 3-5 years related experience in Business & Legal Affairs and/or Contract Administration in the entertainment industry
• BA/BS Degree or Paralegal Certificate
• Ability to prioritize the management of multiple projects on a day-to-day basis with a high degree of autonomy
• Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Able to build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and clients both inside and outside of the organization
• Able to collaborate with various teams and facilitate decision making based on collective team input
• Process-driven with the ability to think outside the box, problem-solver
• Self-motivated and problem-solving attitude in fast-paced, deadline driven environment

Job Posting Ranges are included for all New York and California job postings and 100% remote roles where talent can be located in NYC and CA. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
