Job Title: Senior Analyst, Global PMO

A little bit about our team:

The WMG Global Technology Project Management Office was created to unify the global IT portfolio, program, & project management competencies under one organization. We are responsible for the people, processes, & tools needed to provide these competencies to the global WMG Technology Organization and its customers. We are enabling the move to one unified, global IT organization by establishing & implementing best practices, and maintaining standards related to portfolio, program, & project management, planning, & execution. We provide a central repository for project methods, documentation, and metrics. We strive to improve the consistency, efficiency, and costs of global program & project delivery and to drive improved benefits realization through effective planning.

Your role:

Reporting to the Senior Director, PMO Operations under the Global Technology Project Management Office (PMO), this Senior Analyst must be able to effectively manage change and promote the continuous improvement of portfolio, program and project management related processes and tools. The successful candidate will haveteam leadership, understanding of industry best practices business acumen, professional bearing, Project Management tools knowledge, and strong relationship management skills.

Here you'll get to:
• Work collaboratively with PMO leadership team in development, implementation and maintenance of PMO-related policies, standards, tools, and procedures.
• Effectively communicate and support the adoption of new processes and tools within Project Management group and business stakeholders with priority given to resource management (allocations and capacity planning), and financial management.
• Be a champion of SDLC and ensure defined processes support its compliance.
• Actively champion PMO best practices to drive better project planning, execution, project prioritization and change management.
• Investigate potential opportunities for adoption to our PPM Platform (WorkFront) and other PMO tools like Jira, Monday.com
• Help with prioritizing programs and projects based on company objectives dealing with changing functional needs, resource capacity constraints, risk exposure, and interdependencies.
• Monitor metrics and generate reports to inform decisions that maximize returns across Global Technology projects and programs.
• Generate and drive improvements to PMO reporting by close collaboration with Project Managers and PMO leadership in order to provide visibility into Global Technology initiatives and highlight the health of projects, programs, and portfolios.
• Continuously look for improvement of processes and tools in order to further evolve project management methodologies to ensure process and project delivery quality and scalability.

About you:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum 10 years' experience in Project Management and PMO
• Experience with managing PPM systems (e.g. WorkFront)
• Proficient knowledge of other project management software to manage projects (e.g., MS Project and auxiliary tools)
• PMP certification
• Metric creation and reporting experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent leadership ability
• Effective analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and time management skills
