Job Title: Security Manager

A little bit about our team:

You will be reporting to the Head of Global Security and working with team members based in Los Angeles, New York, Nashville, and Atlanta. Our team is designed to imagine, create, and maintain innovative and safe workplaces to accommodate the needs of our dynamic business and global footprint.

Your role:

You will work closely with Facilities teams (leaders, managers, maintenance team, mailroom, and building/office services contractors) and security teams in the US to support building operations, events, and employee protection objectives. You will have the opportunity to support, lead, develop, and implement standards for building security, live event security, investigations, and security risk mitigation.

Here you'll get to:
• Day-to-day management of security operations and team members in NY, Nashville, Miami, and other areas as needed.
• Develop and maintain local security response plans.
• Assist security and facilities team with crisis management efforts, including crisis management planning and response.
• Assist in other areas of emergency management and response.
• Conduct training exercises with local security officers and ensure they are properly trained.
• Assist in the development, implementation, improvement, and management of physical security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Perform threat and risk assessments of facilities, events, security technology, and methods/techniques.
• Mitigate findings using appropriate strategic and tactical solutions.
• Maintain relationships with necessary government agencies to include federal, state, local, and international law enforcement and other public agencies/entities, industry peers, and security service vendors.
• Develop and maintain an active intelligence gathering methods to identify threats in areas of responsibility including physical territories and entertainment/music industry.
• Support executive and employee protection functions and assist with necessary personnel threat mitigation.
• Work with Head of Global Security and serve in an advisory role for senior leaders on relevant issues.
• Work with business leaders to understand and service security-related issues and functions.
• Work closely with key company stakeholders including WMG's various business units, Human Resources, Legal, Communications, Facilities team, Global Technology, property management team, contractors, and vendors.
• Prepare, supervise, and oversee necessary investigations to support various business functions.
• Assist in security RFP, negotiation, selection, and placement of qualified security contractors.
• Ensure quality control mechanisms are in place for security contract compliance.
• Participate in security planning and provide appropriate coverage for important company and employee events.

About you:
• Bachelor's degree in business, criminal justice, public safety, facilities management, or related discipline
• 10+ years of strong corporate security experience of increasing responsibility, including Program Management experience or law enforcement equivalent
• Authorized to carry a conceal weapon in New York City
• Understanding of physical security principles, investigative methodologies, and crisis management.
• Security risk assessment experience.
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Well organized and detail oriented with an ability to multi-task.
• High ethical standards a must.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Possess sound judgment, discretion, and ability to balance competing interests.
• Able to stay on your feet for an extended period
• Willing to work a flexible schedule as needed.

• Events-related experience.
• Understanding of security equipment and software as it relates to access control, cameras, and intrusion detection systems.
• Law enforcement experience.
• Cyber investigation experience.
