Job Title: Project Coordinator, Web Compliance

A little bit about our team:

The Compliance Operations Team ensures all Warner Music Group's web properties maintain strict compliance standards in accordance with data privacy laws such as GDPR and CCPA. This is achieved by scanning, auditing, and reviewing all cookies on websites and webstores before they launch as well as regularly auditing the global inventory of WMG's websites. The team sits within the Global Data Operations department, aligned with legal and business affairs to provide critical guidance to Warner's labels in all territories.

Why this could be your next big break:

As a skilled project manager, you will take the lead on capturing, auditing, reviewing, and approving the technical implementation of a CMP (Cookie Management Platform) and applying compliance policies to all Warner websites before they launch. While you won't be expected to write code and develop websites yourself, a solid understanding of common web technologies will be needed for advising developers and reviewing their work.

Here you'll get to:
• Audit and review all websites, splash pages, and campaigns for cookie compliance and other privacy requirements before launch.
• Use a CMP (Cookie Management Platform) to scan websites, identify the cookies used and ensure they are listed accurately in the platform.
• Provide developers with implementation instructions and assist them with troubleshooting and debugging.
• Translate technical cookie functionality into descriptions that can be understood by non-technical users.
• Maintain a central database of all cookies used on WMG websites, investigate any new cookies introduced to Warner Websites and assign appropriate categories and descriptions.
• Work closely with Warner's legal and business affairs teams to maintain compliance standards.
• Manage business stakeholders at all levels across the global organization.
• Maintain a full inventory of all WMG websites and stores, ensuring it is kept up to date with additions and removals.
• Conduct quarterly reviews of all sites on the website inventory to ensure compliance is maintained.
• Own the relationship with the CMP provider to ensure any technical difficulties are escalated and resolved promptly.

About you:
• You are incredibly organized, a master of managing your workflow, with an immaculate attention to detail.
• You have a history of defining and following processes, but you're a creative problem-solver, identifying opportunities to innovate, optimize and improve workflows.
• You have a solid understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• You have an understanding of how cookies work, how they are dropped, and how to identify them in browsers.
• You will have enough technical know-how to hold your own when briefing developers and working through implementation issues with them.
• You possess a tenacious attitude to testing and debugging.
• You have experience applying a firm but empathetic approach when managing expectations for numerous stakeholders.

It would be music to our ears if you also had:
• Familiarity with Cookie Management Platforms, particularly OneTrust/CookiePro.
• Working knowledge of GDPR and/or CCPA requirements.
