We are hiring a short-term Workday Project Manager to assist with delivery of business critical projects.

A little bit about our team:

The People Technoolgy Team are the tech kids of the People Team. We are the guardians of the data, ensuring that the data we work with is an accurate representation of our business, to help drive and produce great analytics for our senior leaders. Our Human Capital Management (HCM) system of choice is Workday, and we strive to enhance and configure the system to take advantage of the next cool feature as well as to fit the forever evolving culture at WMG.

Not only is WMG a dynamic and vibrant business to be a part of, we are undergoing a large financial systems transformation, and we need a dedicated engagement manager to liaise between Workday, Financial Systems, and Vendors. As a Project Lead of the People Technology team you'll manage through the deployment and cutover to the future state of Workday's integration to our overhauled financial systems. In addition, you'll have the opportunity to manage and get hands on experience with internal Workday projects and developments integral to the overall performance of HR. Workday is one of the leading cloud-based systems in HR Technology, and this role will give exposure working with the system and being part of enhancement projects.

Here you'll get to:
• Manage the Workday side of our financial systems transformation project which includes overseeing Workday integrations and functional changes required to meet our new financial system needs
• Manage internal People Technology projects and initiatives to enhance our existing Workday configuration
• Partner with internal stakeholders and process leads to understand needs and requirements, and partner with analysts and consultants to deliver successful projects
• Support People Tech Team members and escalation needs as project manager
• Serve as first point of contact in managing project related vendor performance. Support the Vice President, People Technology on new vendor engagements & renewals, to include scoping, legal and contractual, and commercial/pricing activities.
• Partner with the Vice President, People Technology to manage and prioritize the inflow of demand upon the HRIS team, engaging with stakeholders and third parties
• Partner with IT, Audit and HR to follow HRIS standard methodologies, coordinate and facilitate data and process requirements, working with them to ensure they are correctly represented in Workday, supporting enhancement activity and other Workday related initiatives that relate to new or improved business processes and set up structure.
• Be responsible for satisfying audit requirements, which include monthly HRIS audit tasks, quarterly SOX compliance and project audits.

About you:
• Use strong project management skills and deliver!
• Effectively organize, manage escalations, and resolve issues independently
• Demonstrate experience of operational management of HRIS/People Technology activity
• Demonstrate experience of working on Finance transformation projects (preferably with Workday/SAP)
• Work independently with minimal supervision, but also enjoy working as part of a Global team.
• Communicate in an excellent written style and with clear verbal skills, including training and testing material development for predominantly non-native English language speakers and analysis
• Have an eye for detail to satisfy our audit requirements; but also, exposure to audit in a previous role would be desirable.
• Show awareness and sensitivity to confidential data that you will be privy to.
• Utilize strong computing skills (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

It would be music to our ears if you also had:
• Workday Project Management experience, or experience in one or more Workday modules.
• Experience with Financial Systems such as SAP
• Experience with deployment of new systems
• Professional qualification in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field (or equivalent education/experience).
• Good working knowledge of HR, its principles, processes and policies.
• Exposure to working with international teams and partners.
