A little bit about our team:

The WMX Global Commercial Services team maximizes WMG revenue and market share, leading through best practices, platform expertise and forward thinking solutions that support our recorded music strategy.

Your role:

You will support the WMX YouTube team by pulling and organizing data, creating and sharing YouTube best practices and strategy, and identifying opportunities by analyzing our overall YouTube business. You will do this by working closely with the WMX team, but also across departments, and labels. The optimal candidate is just as comfortable building stories around data as they are developing creative solutions around the issues they may find. This role will expose you to every side and facet of YouTube and will be a great opportunity to see how a major record label works with their partners to find success for their labels and artists.

Here you'll get to:
• Create and compile documents and best practices that enhance communications, platform engagement and consumption at YouTube
• Gather and organize data and findings from our YouTube operations to influence future decisions and strategies relating to best practices and optimizations
• Work with WMG / ADA channels to make sure they are following all the best practices and channel optimizations across YouTube
• Coordinate with various internal departments and YouTube to resolve issues and inconsistencies within our YouTube network
• Coordinate with our data teams to test and measure the effectiveness of various strategies within YouTube, from channel optimizations to cross promotional strategies
• Keep YouTube data and documents organized and accessible for various stakeholders across the company

About you:
• Able to navigate and analyze YouTube analytics
• Have an understanding of YouTube and YouTube channel optimization
• Strong analytical skills and passionate about data and how to use it to bring about meaningful change
• Take direction and execute specific outlined initiatives
• Passionate about how music lives in today's evolving digital space
• Work under pressure, communicate effectively, and meet deadlines

We'd love it if you also had:
• College Degree preferred
• 1-3 years of experience
• Knowledge of the YouTube CMS
• Understanding of online video trends and practices
• Experience with Python and/or SQL
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Bonus: you have a personal YouTube channel or TikTok account you're proud of
