Ecommerce has grown to be a thriving business for artists and brands. Our team partners with clients and works diligently to develop engaging artist stores, online marketing strategy, promotional offers, and nuanced products that appeal to consumers and super-fans, and drive sales.

Your role:

You'll be at the forefront of ecommerce growth at a major label, managing a roster of online stores for WMX Ecommerce, and working closely with labels, managers, and artists.

Here you'll get to:
• Be responsible for developing and actioning DTC (direct-to-consumer) online merchandising initiatives for artist and label brands
• Work with graphic designers to develop all assets for comprehensive, holistic ecommerce launches, from store graphics to email banners to social assets
• Support the ideation and development of ecommerce products for each artist-specific store on your roster, based on artist cycles, tent-pole events, seasonality, holiday, and anniversary opportunities.
• Compile sales reporting and forecasting monthly or as needed for client and internal needs.
• Manage ecommerce product launches (music and merch) from conception to product page development and through order placement, in coordination with operations and customer service teams.
• Develop paid media programs in coordination with CRM and media partners
• Follow best practices in ecommerce development, creating individualized shopping experiences per artist store, with a goal to increase sales and subscriber acquisition #s on a quarterly basis.

About you:
• You have 3+ years of experience in ecommerce, online marketing, retail, or equivalent education.
• You have a knowledge of, and appreciation for, contemporary music and popular culture.
• You have a growth mindset with a desire to drive increased optimization and conversions.
• You are self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized.
• You have excellent grammar, and a natural enthusiasm for editing marketing content.
• You must be comfortable with spreadsheets, forecasting, forms, and research.
• You must be comfortable engaging with other departmental teams, and in managing projects. Communication is key.
• You must be comfortable engaging with clients in a professional atmosphere and be committed to maintaining confidential information as related to product launches.

We'd love it if you also had:
• College Degree preferred
• Experience with ecommerce platforms such as Magento, Shopify, or Salesforce/CommerceCloud/Demandware.
• Experience with Google Adwords and/or Facebook/Instagram Advertising.
• Experience with SEO.
• Experience in product or project development.
