Job Title: Manager, Artist Relations & Strategy

Warner Music Group Artist Relations & Strategy department is responsible for all aspects of creating campaigns and promotion plans for our roster of talent. Artist Relations & Strategy works with external teams (talents and management teams) and internal teams to achieve the objectives for each project. We are constantly innovating. We believe in the concept of teamwork.

Your role:

The Artist Relations and Strategy Manager will help to create and deliver marketing campaigns from Warner Music Latin's roster. To ensure that releases are on time, within budget, and on brand, this role coordinates and oversees all operations of our roster, from product management to marketing. A successful Artist Relations & Strategy Manager is organized, detail-oriented, efficient, diplomatic, and communicative. They are natural multi-taskers, delegators, and supervisors who revel in making order out of chaos. Although the core of the role is managerial, they can't be afraid to be hands-on. This profession is about obtaining results, which occasionally means doing things that are not specified in the job description to keep the project on track.

Here you'll get to:
• Create and implement a marketing plan with measurable, scalable, and innovative online and offline campaigns to meet goals around consumption and new fan acquisition for developing artists.
• Manage and integrate marketing campaigns, including overall artist awareness.
• Work with artist management and A&R on assessing artist development needs.
• Lead, and leverage strategic relationships with internal and external partner teams to drive key performance.
• Create, negotiate and manage marketing budgets for each assigned project.
• Participate in managing release schedules as it pertains to assigned projects.
• Research and evaluate customer needs, industry landscape, and market/cultural trends.
• Lead all aspects of full-funnel marketing activities for the US Latin market including budget management.
• Partner with Regional teams, for all future music launches; ensure charts positions targets are achieved.
• Work with the talents, and their management teams to develop marketing campaigns and reports.
• Work closely with cross-functional internal teams (A&R, Brand, Digital, PR, and Finances team) to coordinate opportunities for developing artists.
• Work closely with Marketing Services team, to help build a connection with new audiences, both with organic and paid strategies, and propose new ways to engage with them.
• Stay updated about the latest industry trends across music, gaming, social media and web3.
• Maintain strong relationships with managers, agents, promoters, and commercial partners to stay in the loop on new and emerging artists
• Assist operations in securing lyrics, writer splits, musician credits and all other necessary label copy
• Deep understanding of the digital commerce space including the DSP artist portals and the key artist development and feeder playlists

About you:
• Bachelor's degree in marketing or related fields
• 4+ years of music industry experience
• Self-starter, with a bias toward action and execution
• Passion for music, urban culture and staying on top of current trends
• Experience promoting products in US Latin markets
• Knowledgeable about the Latin music industry in the USA.
• Fluent in written and spoken Spanish and English
• Must be able to think through, evaluate and solve problems logically and efficiently.
• Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Conduct all matters and communications in a professional and courteous manner as a representative of the company.
• Proactive problem solver, instilled with a sense of urgency for projects large and small.
• An understanding of marketing (especially digital and social media marketing) for music artists
• Demonstrated ability to manage cross-departmental projects, for teams working towards the same goal
• Must be able to travel (30% of time) and flexibility in work schedule.
