Job Title: Junior, Artist Development

A little bit about our team:

The Artist Development team is an exciting group of people who work in Marketing, Creative Services, Video Production, Brand Partnerships, Event Planning, and Digital/Interactive/Social Marketing. The Junior AD role is an opportunity to partner with each of these areas on an artist roster that you help to support.

Why this could be your next big break:

Under direct supervision of the EVP of Artist Development, this person will support the development of overall marketing plans for WMN releases. This person will assist the department lead by being the key contact at the label for all assigned artists and corresponding artist managers. This person will balance the training process of the development of marketing strategies and the execution of them. This position will be a partnership with the department head during career development and will have a truncated artist roster.

Here you'll get to:
• Work directly under the department lead and act as a project manager across your assigned artist roster.
• You'll plan and execute music and content releases, contribute to the creative process, oversee the brand development of your individual artist roster, plan and execute marketing campaigns and timelines
• You will aid in the development of consumer marketing plans alongside the department head to generate awareness and momentum for WMN artists.
• You will continuously evaluate, measure and monitor effectiveness of marketing strategies using data driven insights
• You will develop, implement and maintain marketing communication plans
• You will support and maintain marketing budgets under the direction of the dept head and label finance.
• You will handle and safeguard confidential and proprietary information.
• Must be able to effectively communicate internally and/or externally in a manner consistent with the company's Code of Conduct and core values.
• Must be able to come to work on time without restriction as to time commitment.
• Must be able to read and understand materials and documents and have the ability to recognize and extract critical data and information.
• Must be able to perform all diverse physical tasks necessary to complete all the essential duties and responsibilities of the position.
• Must be able to work at and utilize all necessary functions of a computer in order to complete all the essential duties and responsibilities of the position.

About you:
• You will build and maintain strong relationships with artists, managers, internal/external team members.
• You will handle confidential information and plans with utmost discretion.
• You will be extremely detail oriented with a strong follow through.
• You have a passion and creative understanding of the artists on the WMN roster.
• You have 2 to 3+ years of marketing experience, preferably in the entertainment business.
• You have a Bachelor degree in Business or Marketing

It would be music to our ears if you also had:
• The desire to think out of the box, push limits and exceed expectations for our artists.
• Experience in the entertainment business
