Job Title: Coordinator, Income Tracking (Temp)

A little bit about our team:

The Income Tracking Coordinator temporary role falls within the overall structure of the Administration Team and has a direct impact on our songwriters through maximising revenue from all revenue streams. The role will liaise with all areas of our business and work closely with our Finance, Royalty, and Copyright and you will have the opportunity to work internationally with affiliates, licensees and collection societies.

This department is vital to the service Warner Chappell provides to its clients: the songwriters.

You'll be working within a group of 4 people under the supervision of the Income Tracking Manager.

Your role:

In this role, you will be responsible for the forensic analysis of income received against income expectations across all major revenue streams and instigate back-claims, adjustments and supplemental payments where required. You will enjoy the opportunity to provide input into the creation of reports that support Income Tracking as well as the opportunity to collaborate with internal departments to create and improve processes that can easily adapt to the constantly evolving nature of music licensing. Here you'll get to:
• Work as integrated member of a future-facing administration team.
• Evolve ways of working to take our income tracking to the next level.
• Identify and make claims for shortfalls in income.
• Provide the business with regular forecasts/updates by income providers (society/DSP/ affiliate/third party).
• You will monitor accurate deal level revenue across all income streams
• Ensure affiliate income queries relating to domestic income are resolved
• Support the Admin team on projects including ad hoc forecasts and income analysis
• You will work closely with the US Royalty and Copyright teams to both resolve and proactively prevent against problems arising with the collection of income

About you:
• You have skills to analyze, extract & manipulate data from high volume datafiles
• You have advanced Excel capabilities including Power Pivot & advanced formulae
• You have a solid understanding of mechanical licensing and copyright registration
• You are passionate about music and enjoy working with spreadsheets

We'd love it if you also had:
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Experience working with PRO's as well as HFA, MLC, and/or other collection societies
• The ability to manage multiple projects at once and hit time-sensitive deadlines
• The ability to join dots, think laterally and understand both downstream and upstream impact of events
• Experience with Alteryx and/or Tableau
