Job Title: Director, Product Data Management
A little bit about our team:
The Product Data Management Team is a part of Global Data Operations. Our team supports regional product data standards in partnership with regional Labels as well as other Product Data Management personnel. We contribute as needed to Global Technology projects impacting the Label Copy application, GCDM (Global Content Data Management). We also provide label support when entering Label Copy into GCDM.
Here you'll get to:
• Oversight of Nashville based team responsible for carrying out data entry, maintenance and enhancement tasks in WMG's label copy management system
• Oversight and coordination of WMG initiative to clear suspense backlog working in conjunction with finance, royalty and technology groups
• Line management responsibility for 5 members (the team) of the North American PDM team.
• Oversight of the (above) team responsible for resolving globally submitted requests to the group PDM mailbox
• Oversight of Project work as required or allocated by broader PDM/GDO leadership.
• Participation in the Data Standards group, reviewing and approving new product and asset data standards as required by the WMG business.
• Ownership of the process to track and communicate status of all projects currently in flight with team.
• Provision of insight and education as needed to WMG stakeholders in asset and product data.
• Enforce established audit control requirements in all relevant procedures carried out by group, assisting with control approvals as and when necessary.
• Oversee recurring review of data quality reports, carrying out updates to WMG's label copy system where necessary.
• Oversee teams role to provide under resourced labels with label copy entry support.
• Oversee the team's role to carry out specific suspense clearing tasks as required by financial departments and the broader WMG suspense clearance initiative.
• Represent on calls and meeting as necessary requiring expertise in product and asset data entry, maintenance and issue resolution.
• Participate in testing and training procedures required new by technology and business process initiatives in the product and asset data space

• Demonstrate excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Handle a fast-paced work environment that requires strong multitasking skills
• Have excellent time management and prioritization skills
• Pay very close attention to detail and consistency
• Computer proficient; MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook
We'd love it if you also had:
• Have working knowledge of the recording music industry and distribution supply chain (physical and digital)
• 4 years of music industry experience
• Bachelor's degree preferred
